Young Indians (Yi) Ahmedabad chapter of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in association with Volunteer for Better India and inspired by the Art of Living Foundation has initiated a campaign Vote for Better India, that aims to spread awareness about the importance of voting in the society especially among youth.

Young Indians is an association of young entrepreneurs and professionals that has immense connect with the youth from all walks of life. The objective of this campaign is to educate young voters about the importance of their participation in the elections by means of casting their vote and for them to take an informed decision.

Young Indians (Yi) have reached out with this agenda to corporate and educational institutions and have successfully involved 3,000 youth who have pledged to exercise their right to vote. Yi hopes to involve 20,000 youths across the city with the message and with a request to vote and exercise their right.

In another awareness drive, Ahmedabad Airport Ground Handling staff joined the bandwagon with a unique campaign where more than 100 employees of a private company donned a badge with message of "#CastYourVote". Ahmedabad Airport Authority and the leading airlines housed at Ahmedabad airport have also endorsed the initiative for election awareness and to encourage the flying class citizens of the country to cast their vote.
