Odisha: Spiritual guru Ravishankar in Bhubaneswar to review progress work of Sri Sri University

Report by India Education bureau, Bhubaneswar: The world renowned spiritual leader and founder of world famous volunteer based spiritual organisation 'The Art Of Living foundation'. Param Poojya Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is visiting Odisha. During his visit he will review and assess various departments of Sri Sri University and the peripheral social upliftment programmes implemented at the behest of Sri Sri University in the villages around the university.

Department of Management with Agri business, entrepreneurship and General Management has started in July 2012. Similarly, the departments of Yoga and Naturopathy, Performing Arts have started their batches. From this academic year the University plans to start faculty of Good Governance and Osteopathy. Livelihood programmes for women, construction of home for homeless, skill training to uneducated youth and their placement, providing solar electricity in the villages around the university are some of the social service projects that have already been implemented in the surrounding villages as social outreach initiatives.
 In addition to this, Sri Sri will also address to the volunteers of 'VOLUNTEER FOR A BETTER INDIA'(VFABI)'s Odisha chapter during his visit. VFABI is a mammoth network of volunteers, which was very recently created by the inspiration of Sri Sri whose main objective is to create a stress-free, violence free and corruption free India.
