Over 1 year, the volunteers of The Art of Living have worked with gut and grit to revive the Tavraja river in Latur District, Maharashtra. Right from de-weeding it to restoring the green cover around for proper rains, the volunteers have applied scientific methods to restore the water body. It was an emotional moment for the villagers to see the waters gush in the river stream. More than 41 villages in Latur district are expected to benefit from this restoration.
