The Higher Education Department has roped in the Sri Sri University to conduct career counselling on ‘good governance and public policy’ for final year students of 40 autonomous colleges in the State. The duration of each counselling session would be one hour.
These colleges include BJB Autonomous College, RD Women’s College and Basic Science College at Bhubaneswar; SB Women’s and Stewart Science Colleges at Cuttack besides Khallikote College at Ganjam and Fakir Mohan College at Balasore.
The Sri Sri University was chosen for the purpose as it offers a two-year Master of Arts Programme in Good Governance, which aims at creating ethical and effective leaders in politics, administration, civil society through NGOs and the CSR sector.
