Life and Guru are inseparable. Your life is the Guru tatva(principle). Throw light on your own life. The wisdom that shines through your life - you need to honor, that is honoring the Guru. See, life has taught you so many things - what you did wrong and what you did right, and if you don't throw light on your own life, then the Guru is absent. So reflect on your own life and honor the wisdom that life has offered you. That is honoring the Guru. Are you with me? It is serious stuff.

The Art of Living family celebrated 30 years of service to humanity by honouring the cultural diversity on this planet. "I am so happy to be here in this city where the walls came down between people, it is time walls come down between cultures and civilizations. We all should remember we are a one world family. We need to bring everyone together in a spirit of love compassion, service" said Sri Sri. Over 6000 artists from around the world gave spell-binding performances with an enthusiasm that was only encouraged further by the pouring rains!

On Tour with Sri Sri : J & K : 21st - 24th July, 2011

Sri Sri arrived in the Kashmir Valley on the 21st of July. Mirwaiz Ulmer Farooq, the chairman of the Hurriyat met with Sri Sri to discuss ways to sustain peace in the valley. He, being a board member of the Amarnath Shrine, then reviewed the Yatra-related arrangements at the holy cave, particularly those relating to sanitation and hetitleh care and interacted with a large number of Yatris and enquired about the Yatra arrangements. Following this was a series of events in Jammu where while meeting reporters Sri Sri emphasized that the ongoing Indo-Pak dialogue process should continue and not be hampered because of the terror-attack in Mumbai. "Dialogue should continue but at the same time stringent measures should be taken (to deal with terrorism)." He then interacted with members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bar Associations and representatives from various social and political organizations in Jammu before proceeding to Delhi. Start chanting classes everywhere - chant 'Satyam Param Dhimahi' for 10 minutes with a few minutes of silence before and after. Don't chant for too long, not half hour, one hour, just 10-15 minutes. Let us create a wave in this country(India) from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. From (chanting) Satyam Param Dhimahi (Let Truth, Divinity and Knowledge shine through me), it will move into 'Satyam eva Jayathe' (Truth alone shall prevail). This will certainly happen.

The Art of Living entered into an agreement with the Government of Karnataka in November 2009. with the cooperation of a few corporate houses to build 237 houses those who were displaced and left homeless due to the floods in Khairwadgi & Hebballi , Bagalkot District. The handing over ceremony will be held on August 5th 2011 at10.30am, Khairwadgi Village and at 1:00pm, Hebballi Village.
