The first day of the World Culture Festival has come to an end with a spectacular laser show! It has been a true celebration of cultures and traditions from all over the world, coming together in peace and celebration.

Not only the tens of thousands of people in the Olympic Stadium, but many, many more all over the world participated in the meditation for World Peace, guided by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.

The performances that followed were also a big success, with artists from all over the world, such as Outlandish from Denmark, and professional ballet from Russia.

Over 5000 people came all the way from South America to attend the World Culture Festival! They brought a team of professional Tango dancers with them, that delivered a beautiful performance...

A beautiful folk dance by 2000 people from Bulgaria, who traveled for 30 hours to reach Berlin!

Over 800 yoga practitioners performing the Sun Salution together, accompanied by Sanskrit chanting... a wonderful sight!

The Art of Living offers an easy, fun and profound yoga course all over the world: Sri Sri Yoga for Health & Happiness, for physical health and mental well-being.

Sri Sri was awarded with the Human of the World Award, bestowed on him by Alexander Stephanov, President of the Academy of National Security of Russia.

Sri Sri at the World Culture Festival said: "I am so happy to be here in this city where walls came down between people. It is time walls come down between cultures and civilizations. We should all remember we are a one world family."

Sri Sri also said: "It is time to celebrate the differences and celebrate life on this planet. With all the volunteers, we are sure we can create a stress-free, violence-free society for our children. Poverty eliminated, differences celebrated and connection to the inner Divinity. One Divinity, one humanity, celebrating differences, this is our sacred duty."
